They propose that self-efficacy is important because the world of work is constantly changing. Faith that your abilities are established enough to face the change, and difficulties gives you an advantage.
Hobbies help to improve our self-efficacy. By providing learning opportunities that cater to these interests, we can develop skills that enhance our productivity and overall job satisfaction.

Now consider the alternative. Can we continue to afford to restrict the development of our people? As a value-added benefit, it would become a recruitment advantage and a tool to reduce attrition.
